WORKSHOP:
Make Your Own Herb Box 

Come spend a morning in the Cole Canyon Farm Herb House becoming better acquainted with your favorite herbs and meeting a few new ones. How herbs grow, what they need, and how they can best be combined in containers will be discussed. We will show you how we transplant herbs into containers and then you will plant your own 12" “Love Potion” to keep or to give as a gift.

Workshops in Fall 2008 (only two classes available)
Saturdays 9am-Noon: Nov. 15 and Dec. 6
Cost: $50 includes discussion and tour of the Herb House, transplant demonstration, and direction in planting your own herb box with five lush organic herbs. Containers, soils, and kelp/fertilizer are also included. Special dates may be added for groups of 6 - 10. Workshops are limited to 10 participants and reservations are required. Payment by credit card is required to hold your space.

Directions
From San Jose, take 101 South, continue through Gilroy about 12 miles, and turn right on Cole Road.  Cole Canyon Farm is 1¼ mile on your right.

From Santa Cruz, take Highway 1 south to Watsonville, exit at 129/Riverside Drive.  Follow Riverside Drive east to Rogge Lane.  Turn right on Rogge, continue through Aromas to Carr, turn left on Carr and continue up hill, around field to Cole Road.  Stay right onto Cole Road, 1 mile to Cole Canyon Farm on left. 

From Monterey, take Highway 1 north to 156, 156 east to 101, 101 north about 8 miles make left turn onto Cole Road, crossing northbound traffic.  Cole Canyon Farm is 1¼ mile on your right.

Please park on the road and follow the markers
– uphill, about 300 yards -
to the first greenhouse.
